Erc Contribute to the World Banks Efforts to Reduce Plastic Waste

ERC's work on Abandoned, Lost or Discarded Fishing Gear (ALDFG) in South Asia was published in the World Banks "Tangled Seas" report. This work has made an important contribution to improving understanding and decision-making about plastic pollution in the region. South Asia is a hotspot for plastic waste entering the ocean each year and the problem is intensified as the plastic waste management infrastructure struggles to keep pace with rapid urbanization and population growth.
