ERC reviewed the volume of seafood waste and ‘by-products’ generated in the UK and how this waste is utilized. The report specifically quantifies the scale and distribution of seafood waste and its utilisation in the UK. It also addresses the current circularity of seafood and assesses the extent of its current valorisation, with a view to identifying areas for potential enhancement.
