Working with Resources for Change (R4C), ERC carried out the final evaluation of the Scheme between December 2021 and July 2022. The Fifth Continent Landscape Partnership Scheme (LPS) was developed by the Romney Marsh Living Landscape Partnership and funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) for a variety of habitat improvements, community engagement opportunities and training programmes benefitting the people and wildlife of the Romney Marsh area.
The
evaluation provides an account of what was done for each activity,
underpinned by quantitative and qualitative evidence that was gathered
through interviews with key stakeholders. The evaluation demonstrates the
difference made by the activities, ‘proving’ what has been achieved by the
individual projects and the Scheme as a whole, and ‘improving’ by
establishing what has gone well and less well and why, so that others can learn
from this in the future.
