ERC are contracted to conduct an assessment and recommendations for coastal restoration of Gaza’s coastal zone and it’s natural resources and ecosystems. The assessment will identify the main threats, including climate change, assess the dynamics and the enabling environment (including relevant legislation and policy, institutions, stakeholders and budget) and develop practical recommendations (including a cost estimate) for supporting the restoration and protection of Gaza’s coastal zone.

This work is suspended at present, with the likelihood that this will continue as part of an emergency response and contingency planning package for Palestine, when circumstances allow.
